This Thanksgiving season take some time to put the stress of cooking on hold and come spend time being grateful, peaceful, and helpful. Join us for a community based event in which we will have a vinyasa flow for yogis of all levels followed by Thanksgiving snacks. We ask that you donate non-perishable food as your exchange for the class which will be donated to Long Island families in need for the holiday season. This event will focus on having gratitude for what we have and helping those who may not have. We invite family, friends, members and non-members to all come together for this event to share our yoga practice with each other and spread happiness and help to others in our community in need. After class there will be a celebration of our gratitude with a Free Spirits Friendsgiving where you are invited to spend time with each other, share your energy and share your snacks with one another.
It seems like there are just not enough hours in the day to do what you need to do to get ready for the holidays. Juggling cooking, shopping, errands, and entertaining your children is a difficult feat. Take some time on Saturday December 14th to drop your children off at Free Spirits Yoga Center for a workshop so you have some time to shop local through Sayville, do errands, or maybe just nap. Kids will participate in yoga and guided meditation. We will also be creating holiday cards and get out some of that holiday excitement energy through games and activities. This workshop is an opportunity for children to get in the holiday spirit and out their energy while you have time to relax and tackle that holiday to-do list.
